What vrOS is, in a paragraph you can quote. The three marks as SVG. The rules that keep them recognizable, and the palette they sit in.
The facts
vrOS is a VR overlay utility for Windows and Linux. It puts your desktop windows on floating panels inside your headset, so you can read and use your computer without taking it off — with a keyboard that types in nine languages, playspace tools that fix your floor, and a performance panel that shows what the headset was doing when it stuttered. It runs as a desktop app first; VR attaches when a headset is present. Everything happens on the machine in front of you: no network surface, no remote control, no telemetry.
Windows 10/11 and Linux x86-64 are supported. Steam Frame is in development, with two questions still open until the hardware answers them: which overlay path works on-device, and what can be captured there. Note that a Frame streaming PCVR wirelessly from a Windows or Linux PC is already running the supported build — the open work is native, on-device.
Marks
One mark, three files. The silhouette is ears plus a disc with a negative-space tail-S. Download the SVG and use it as it is — these are the only three files there are.

The coin in the lockup is outlined paths, but the wordmark is a real text element that needs IBM Plex Sans SemiBold to render. Anywhere the font cannot travel with the file — a print house, a partner's deck, a third-party layout tool — convert the text to outlines first. Without the font the wordmark falls back to whatever the renderer has, and the lockup is no longer the lockup.
Clear space
Nothing comes closer than that: not text, not a rule, not a border, not another logo. On the 96-unit grid that works out to roughly one eighth of the mark's box.
Don'ts
Everything not on this list is fine. These five are not.
No glow
Nothing behind or around the mark.
No rotation
The coin sits upright. It is never tilted, and never spun to fill a corner.
No semantic colors
ACCENT, LIVE, OK, WARN and ERR mean a state. The mark is not a state, so it never wears them.
No gradient at 32 px or below
Flat single color in the tray at 16 px, on the SteamVR thumbnail at 32 px, and in all app chrome.
The outline ring is not the mark
It is a UI glyph inside the app. It does not stand in for the coin anywhere.
Palette
Thirteen semantic slots, not a paint box. SIGNAL is the product default and the theme this site wears; the app ships eight themes as value tables against these same slots. Meaning never rides on hue alone — a word, a badge or a position always carries it too.
FOCUS is the thirteenth slot and equals ACCENT unless a theme overrides it.
The duotone gradient is separate from the slots: #35E0FF to #FF4FD8, brand art only.
